After the recent earthquakes in Japan, interested car buyers should be aware that Toyota has stopped production at several plants and local car dealerships are seeing the effects. Because of this Toyota has also had problems receiving parts from suppliers damaged by the tsunami.According to the general manager of Toyota of New Bern, the slowdown of Japan production will impact North America significantly. This means, fewer Toyota cars for much higher prices. The main problems will arise between new cars and parts for older cars.
