Car Dealerships Go Green

Here is something interesting in the car buying world, a "green" car dealership. Dealerships operate green and environmentally friendly cars. The main idea is to use less electricity, less water and use an environmentally friendly process.

The green car dealership follows specific architectural guidelines. These include having the outside of the building being made of 80% recycled aluminum. Heating the building is done by using oil change waste. The car wash uses recycled water. The carpet is made of recycled windshield glass. Alternative means of transport is shown preference, by having bicycle racks and preference for parking for people who carpool.

There are 16 "Green" dealerships in the United States, but if you decide to shop at one remember to be equally as suspicious. Just because their cars are environmentally friendly doesn't mean their deals and salesmen will be economically friendly.
