More Reasons Not To Trust Car Salesmen

The list of why you can't trust a car salesman continues to grow! Last month a New York judge released 17 indictments for a lucrative car theft ring. Two of the indictments were for car salesmen, stealing from their own dealership. Taking orders from customers in Senegal, the car theft ring worked, "steal to order" and would seek out cars with specific make, model, year, color and accessories.

The roles of the two car salesmen were to provide keys from the dealership for the other members to reprogram to match the stolen vehicles unique code. This car theft ring worked throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, but others have been reported across the country.

Honestly, if they are going to steal from their own place of employment, who is to say they won't steal from you the consumer.
